Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharmapuri’ is a premier, co-educational institution under an able autonomous body “Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan” that functions under the aegis of the Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.
This Vidyalaya was first instituted in the year 2007 in a temporary premises and later shifted to its present permanent building at Pallakolai village about 11 kms from the town in 2009. It is a majestic structure sprawled in an 8 acre stretch of land boasting a salubrious scenic backdrop of verdant high mountains and picturesque pastoral surrounding. A most serene setting coupled with a pollution free ambience for a perfect learning experience.

The Vidyalaya has classes I to XII. Classes I to XII have two sections. At the higher secondary level we have two streams in Science and Humanities.
The Student Strength of this Vidyalaya is 936 and the Staff Strength is 37 comprising of both permanent and contractual teachers.
